Why Your Moisturiser Stops Working in Winter
Heating, wind and hot showers strip the skin faster than a light cream can keep up. Most of it comes down to knowing your own skin, and being patient with it.
Find your undertone
Look at the veins on your wrist in daylight: green suggests warm, blue suggests cool, a mix suggests neutral. It is the quickest guide to the shades that suit you.
Less, then more
It is far easier to add than to take away. Apply a thin layer, look in daylight, then build only where you need more coverage or colour.
